Just a 9-minute walk (half a mile) to the famed State Street, this fully renovated (2020) and soundproofed (2025) 2 guest studio retreat is part of a boutique 5-unit complex designed for comfort, convenience, and style. Stroll to the Paseo Nuevo open-air shopping center, explore 20+ nearby wine tasting rooms, or head straight down to the waterfront for ocean views, dining, and nightlife.

- Double occupancy studio with a Cal King bed, oversized private shower, and smart TV.
- Kitchenette with dishware, mini-fridge, kitchen sink, and a Nespresso coffee machine. (no stove)

🌿 Guest Access & Amenities
- Private Entry plus a dedicated parking spot (with Tesla charger, first-come, first-served).
- Shared Backyard Oasis – Relax with a fountain, outdoor seating, and BBQ grills.
- This complex does not have live TV service. All TVs are equipped with apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video) for your streaming pleasure. All TVs and wifi are connected to 2x100 Mbps connections.
- Self-Check-In. The doors are equipped with smart locks, and a unique code matching the last four digits of your phone number on file will be generated and sent to you on check-in day via SMS.
- Free parking in a private parking lot
- No daily housekeeping; refresh service available for 5+ night stays (by request)
- Unit is accessed through the front of the building and shares an indoor lobby with another studio unit (unit #1). This unit is completely private with its own locked entry.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours before arrival for a full refund minus 3% credit card processing fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival and no-shows are charged the full reservation amount.
To cancel, contact us using the details in your booking confirmation, or manage your reservation through the original booking channel. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

“We stayed at Casa Castilla for five nights, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the virtual check-in process was simple, smooth, and stress-free. The unit was immaculate. Before our trip, we saw that the suite included a Nespresso machine, so I packed a couple of coffee mugs just in case the ones provided were worn or dingy. I also brought a pair of stemless wine glasses because I wasn't sure what would be available. As it turned out, I didn't need to bring any of it! The mugs, stemless wine glasses, dishes, and kitchen essentials were all there, and EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN. The attention to detail was outstanding. The bathroom was stocked with thoughtful extras like makeup remover towels, a dental kit, slippers, and other amenities that made us feel truly welcome. It really seemed like they had thought of everything. What we loved most was that it felt less like a vacation rental and more like we had temporarily relocated to Santa Barbara. Because of the location, we felt like part of the community rather than just visitors. It was an easy walk to downtown, and the neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, safe, and secure. One thing that really stood out was the atmosphere. The property never felt crowded. In fact, we rarely ran into other guests, but when we did, everyone exchanged warm smiles and friendly greetings. It created such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Whether that's a reflection of the property or the kind of travelers it attracts, it added to the overall experience. The property itself is charming, with several inviting outdoor spaces to relax. My husband especially fell in love with the large wooden chair in the courtyard. We stayed in Unit 3, which also had its own cozy sitting area. Between the beautiful courtyard and the charming little seating nooks around the property, there were so many peaceful places to unwind. I only wish we had taken more pictures. The suite itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. To top it off, Casa Castilla offers very competitive pricing compared with many other hotels and boutique properties in the area. We felt we received exceptional value and would absolutely stay here again. Casa Castilla is one of those rare places that truly feels like a home away from home.”
